Worked on a wide range of fields in theoretical condensed matter physics, include theory of superlattices, theories of one-dimensional quasi-periodic chains,theories of flux lines of High Tc superconductors, first principle calculations of linear and nonlinear optic properties, theories of electrorheological fluids, depletion effects of colloids, colloid dynamics, soft matter theory.
Have given many courses in the last 15 years on granduate and undergraduate levels, include advanced statistical physics, computational physics, general physics, thermal physics, physics of superconductivity, theory of superconductivity, mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics and statistical physics, computational condensed matter physics, condensed matter theory etc.
